Portholes is a collection of openings found through observing the places that I find comfort in. The routine of a commute, the corner of a studio space, the top floor of an abandoned building. These have all be bought together, through the combined mediums of analogue photography, cyanotype, and patchwork quilting, to show windows into the spaces I find beauty in. Each photograph has been partially obscured by a layer of organza, inviting the observer to pear in and join me in the view.
